Dr. Nadeem Dada was appointed as Executive Director of Medical Affairs and Diagnostic Imaging, Health PEI.
Dr. Nadeem Dada has been employed in the PEI health care system as a psychiatrist providing clinical services to adults, adolescents, and children since October 2001. He did his psychiatric residency training at Ohio State University, where he was also a member of the Residency Education Committee, and at the University of Virginia. He completed his fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia, USA. Dr. Dada received Canadian Certified Physician Executive (CCPE) designation in April 2015.
He served as the head of the Department of Psychiatry at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, PEI from 2008 to 2010, and as Program Medical Director of Mental Health and Addictions with Health PEI from March 2011 to November 2013. He has served as a member of the Mental Health Review Board of PEI, Chair of the Fitness to Practice Committee of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of PEI, member of the Mental Health Steering Committee, President of the PEI Psychiatric Association, as well a member of the Canadian Psychiatric Association Council of Provinces.
